Flashbang Grenades knock your shields out, right?

I am posting this blog because there seems to be some disagreement between myself and Lancer1289 concerning enemy Flashbang Grenades. Several times, I have had enemies knock my shields out with their grenades at the same time as knocking me out of cover. Lancer has never experienced this. I am sure that I am not imagining things, so please, could anyone and everyone chip in and offer their own experiences arguing for or against? And could anyone post proof of Flashbang Grenades knocking/not knocking their shields out, like a video or screenshot? It would be much appreciated.
