I check just about every other day for new stuff on Mass Effect; whether it be some blogs or discussions from developers on past games, or the earliest speculation about Mass Effect "4." I know it won't be out until late 2014 at the earliest, but it's still fun to start following things from the earliest stages. So I found this nifty little article. (much of it is what we've all heard before, though.)
So comment! Or don't. I'm just bored in stats lab so I surf, and I just feel like sharing stuff I come across. L8r peeps.Read more >
This is the most impromptu blog I have ever created (Also, I'm glad to be posting something up here since summer really. School's been crazy).
I'm sitting in my stats lab today and go to a computer. As per usual, I open up explorer with a Mass Effect Wiki page to browse while my teacher speaks. I type "Mass Effect" in the search box and up pops this article.
Now, this could be pretty awesome, but I have to admit I was pretty darn mad when I saw Xbox 720 in the article.
So. Thoughts? I'm eager to see what they have planned even if I have to buy a new console. Hopefully my laptop's hardware is still relevant to run it JUST IN CASE I ca…Read more >
Hey guys! I know it's been an extremely long time since I've made a blog, but with school starting (college wooo!), I've been pretty busy and haven't had time to even hang out here as much as I want to. However, before I started school, I DID have a plan for my next blog.
So one night on Facebook, my friends and I were group chatting about various things, and Mass Effect came up. I stated that Mass Effect 3 was my favorite one despite the ending, and one of my other friends agreed. However, we have our other friend who disagreed and said ME2 was the best. Now, keep in mind. I WON'T KNOCK YOU FOR WHICH GAME IS YOUR PERSONAL FAVORITE. So. I started to back up my position, and I got around to saying that (for me) Mass Effect 3 was much stronge…Read more >
Back in February of 2012, my friend introduced me to one of the greatest games I have ever played. I didn't think I'd like it because I was still in my CoD fanboyism, but once I had recruited Garrus, I started to fall in love with Mass Effect 2.
I played the game six times over, totaling a game time greater than my six prestiges on Black Ops (in half of the time), trying to perfect my playthrough in preparation for Mass Effect 3. After playing Mass Effect 3, I really wanted to go back and play from the very beginning. So in late June, I purchased Mass Effect, and thus "The July of Mass Effect" began. After I had finished the entire series, I was satisfied (even though the ending still irks me to a point), and happy that my Shepard "lived." …

So I downloaded the DLC today. Had to play a few games to get some more credits. Sucks that I needed at least a Cerberus pack to get an N7. Great that I got a character on my first pack :D
The character I got was an N7 Fury. She plays most like a Sentinel, however doesn't have the drawbacks of power recharge time penalty with her Annihilation Field on. It took a few waves to get used to her, but after a while she wasn't too bad of a character. By my third game she felt natural. Dark Channel-Throw constantly isn't as fast as Singularity-Warp, but I like how I don't have to recast a Singularity after each detonation because Dark Channel instantly moves on to the next enemy.
I bought another pack, and I got the N7 Paladin, however I wasn't able…
