Casey Hudson defends day-1 DLC

Gamespot has written an article regarding Casey Hudson defending the use of day-1 DLC. Among the things he states is that the content creators essentially finished the game back in January, then began work on the "From Ashes" DLC. Included in the link is a Q & A (haven't watched it myself), and at 8 minutes in length, it should provide some answers to some previously unanswered questions.
