Acquisition
Edit
Receive this assignment by traveling to the Caspian system of the Maroon Sea after finishing Feros. The MSV Cornucopia is drifting in the asteroid belt. Board the ship to initiate the assignment.
Preparation
Edit
Be sure to top up your Medigel supply in the med bay before heading here. Given the large number of enemies and extremely close quarters in this fight, Singularity skill comes in pretty handy. Lift if sufficiently upgraded will also hold large masses of enemies helpless. Consider equipping Hammerhead Rounds or Sledgehammer Rounds into your weapons to help knock them down.
Walkthrough
Edit
Soon after entering the main hold of the ship you will encounter numerous Husks. They will spawn in waves as you enter certain sections of the labyrinthine hold. A few of them may even spawn behind you depending on the speed and order you traverse the area. Move ahead carefully, destroying all enemies from each wave before proceeding further. Tip: The "electroburst" attack the husks like to use has quite the range and can hit you even through the stacks of crates, but if you use Throw or any other attack which knocks a husk off its feet as soon as the ability starts to activate but before the burst finishes, the burst will do no damage.
After clearing the hold, make your way to the cockpit and use the navigation computer to discover that the ship had been out near the Perseus Veil when they discovered an alien artifact. This artifact, which has since disappeared or been removed from the ship, apparently brainwashed the crew. They plotted a course straight into the Perseus Veil, as though they wanted the geth to find them. There is no record of how the ship got back into human territory, though it is presumed that the geth turned the crew into Husks and then left the ship where it would be found, either as a trap or as a warning.
In the forward section of the ship you will find two crates in the room to the right (facing the cockpit) and one in the room to the left. Both rooms also have a lot of Dragon's teeth.
Note: The layout of the cargo hold is exactly the same as the layout of the space station Sigma-23 in the mission UNC: Depot Sigma-23.
