--Mineral Resource My mineral resource bonus is 25, not 10 as reported on the page. I assume, it depends on how much spare you had "left" on your imported save. Goekhan / 05:53, March 8, 2012 (UTC)

Minerals Edit

How much is needed for the 100 import score? I had over 100,000 of each, expect element zero, of which I had over 80,000. 20:32, March 9, 2012 (UTC)

Many have reported that with 100K Platinum and Palladium (or something like that) they got 100 (some say even less). I got 10, in spite of my imported game being quite more - it was a re-imported game. I then edited the game to set all resources to 1 million each, and still got either 10 or 25. I think there's a bug somewhere. IMNdi50160 00:19, March 20, 2012 (UTC)
Funny idea - you don't think the results are linked to UNC: Valuable Minerals? -- 03:54, March 21, 2012 (UTC)
Doubtful; many have reported the resources are proportional to the quantity of Palladium and Iridium/Eezo (?) in store. Given that those numbers are actively carried into the ME3 savegame, it makes sense. Also, having high resources upsets the game and it reverts to 10. So, it's pretty obvious it's tied to ME2 resources. IMNdi50160 03:25, March 22, 2012 (UTC)
The saved games also keep a record of how many planets you deplete from ME2. My intuition is that lots of people are either using LotSB or savefile hacking to bump up their mineral counts, whereas the game actually only cares about how many planets you strip mine as far as which version of the mineral resources war asset you get.
After testing a save file (post-suicide-mission) that imported with the 10 version of the mineral resources asset then depleting five clusters in ME2 and importing again, that new version of the save still got the low mineral resources version of the asset. I suspect that the probing must be done before the suicide mission is complete. Freduardo 04:29, March 25, 2012 (UTC)
There is evidence to suggest you might need all of your resources to add up to 900k plus in total up to whatever the point of hitting the glitch "ceiling" is.--Xaero Dumort 23:11, March 26, 2012 (UTC)
I got the max War Asset with a total mineral count of about 530k, so 900k is defintely too high. Eisengreifer 11:32, April 6, 2012 (UTC)
due to the dearth of information regarding what -exactly- are the conditions needed to get that 100 mineral assets i'm also going to post what i did.
  • edited mineral numbers in playthrough A, post-suicide mission, to match what i had in playthrough B that got 100 points (an earlier ME2 playthrough when ME3 wasn't out yet and therefore everything done as it should be). didn't work upon ME3 import (the numbers were 300k of each upwards).
  • stripmined who knows how many planets in playthrough A -just before- suicide mission, voila. 100 points. didn't stop until the planets mined are depleted and everything is at least 200k.
  • my earliest ME2 playthroughs (C1 and C2 - one is a newgame+) only had +-100k minerals and ~70k average, respectively. their imports to ME3 yielded 100 points. don't remember if i stripmined planets here or not - probably did.
  • today's moral lesson: don't dupe your mineral numbers in ME2. it doesn't take much to attain that 100 points anyway.

Asset Reformat Edit

Certain assets need better formatting in regards to the structure of the page, as well as determining their individual positive or negative strength values.

Also, Delta and the Naval Flotilla need to be moved up after Arcturus, Shanghai placed before Naval but after Delta. Communication Array and Sixth Fleet should be after the Flotilla. Zaeed and Kasumi should be before Allers. Biotic Company should be after Kahlee.

Since the bug's been logged, how many? Edit

Since the bug about artificially raising your mineral count has been logged, how many DOES it actually take to get a score of 100?NickTyrong 19:08, March 24, 2012 (UTC)

Any updates, people? Alex T Snow (talk) 09:51, August 19, 2012 (UTC)

Eden Prime Assets Edit

For the Eden Prime assets, is it +25 for every piece of intel recovered? (for a cumulative total of +75 for finding all three, so 100 Assets total from Eden Prime)

Or is it +25 for finding intel at all, regardless of how many pieces are recovered? (for 50 assets total from Eden Prime) ShermTank7272 01:57, April 6, 2012 (UTC)

It is a total of 100 for finding all three pieces of intel and completing the Eden Prime mission. Trandra 03:22, April 6, 2012 (UTC)

Trivia: 103rd Division - Team Zeta Edit

Trivia: 103rd Division - Team Zeta - Their nickname Bridge Burners could be a reference to the Malazan Book Of The Fallen by Steven Erikson, where the main protagonists are the members of an elite engineer company consisting of sappers, sharpshooters and other specialists. In their descriptions it mentions about how loud their parties, which is another similarity and the quote about "After what we've been through they are just happy we are not burning down the base" also resembles a quote from the book. --Ornlu 10:27, April 7, 2012 (UTC)

N7 Special Ops Edit

I am a bit curious to know if there has been something that has changed since the last few patches that has made the N7 Special Ops bugged or glitchy. For me while playing on 360, I've only seen the asset for a short time in my latest playthrough and its easy to know when its missing with the rather large 1400+ value it carries right now. I'm hoping to figure out what is going on with this considering the effect that one asset can have on the game for anyone playing through. - Axel Shiokawa (talk) 23:52, March 7, 2013 (UTC)

It is definitely a server-side problem from personal experience. I've run into this type of situation numerous times whenever BioWare decides to do server maintenance.Dibol (talk) 18:03, March 16, 2013 (UTC)

Zhu's Hope asset Edit

I am pretty sure you don't need to save all the colonists on Feros to get them as a war asset. I killed most of them, spared Shiala and then helped her on Illium - and gained the asset, whereas when all of them were spared but I didn't help her on Illium, the asset wasn't available. 14:58, March 25, 2013 (UTC)

Normandy SR-2 Asset and Citadel DLC Edit

According to this page the Normandy SR-2 asset should be updated by 70 points if you have the Citadel DLC. But I think it only gets updated after Citadel: Party. Am I right? If so, we need to clarify this. -- DeJuanNOnley (talk) 11:22, August 31, 2013 (UTC)

Since you can't return to the Normandy until after the party, it doesn't matter and doesn't need to be clarified either. — Elseweyr (talk) 12:24, August 31, 2013 (UTC)

Normandy vs FleetEdit

Am I the only one who finds it funny that a fully upgraded Normandy is stronger than many of the fleets? The Normandy being 185 points on it's own, and even with some of the fleets fully upgraded. 13621 05:49, February 27, 2015 (UTC)

Hey 13621, it is indeed a bit strange but it's not the only inconsistency for war assets. For example, N7 special ops (from Multiplayer) can also become overpowered. It's only a gameplay feature so the war assets "number" is not that related to the lore. If you want to find a consistent explanation with some speculation, I would suggest to open a forum as this talk page is not intended to have such conversation. Have a good day. --DeldiRe (talk) 07:28, February 27, 2015 (UTC)
