Name Etymology
Edit
I was certain there was an origin of this planet's name. It wasn't quite what I expected though. Not sure if it qualifies as something I should put on the page, so I put it here.
Suen (more correctly Su'en) is the Akkadian form of Sin, the lunar god of Mesopotamian mythology. He was regarded as the centre of the universe, and the leader of the pantheon. His Wikipedia page can be found here: [1]
I'm sure there's a link, but I can't quite figure out what. Maybe Sin's status as the centre of the universe reflects how Suen is the rachni homeworld. Maybe His status as a moon god reflects how the planet is tidally locked to the Maskim Xul star. Thoughts? --MadHatter121 (talk) 22:47, April 7, 2013 (UTC)
- I don't see a strong connection. But anyway, without a Dev confirmation this is just wild especulation and can't be put on the article. --MasterDassJennir (talk) 22:58, April 7, 2013 (UTC)
