SPECTRE Status Edit

I've imported Shepard from ME2 (PC), where he was reinstated as a SPECTRE by councilor Anderson. I could not access the SPECTRE office prior to speaking to the Council and "regaining" SPECTRE status.

your point? that door stays locked regardless of whether you regained spectre status in ME2 or not. you gain authorization either way after you talked to the council. simple railroading. I'm just providing info. If I knew I'd be attacked I sure wouldn't bother putting my time in it. My point is that from the guide I gathered that I would first be able to explore the SPECTRE office area, which is clearly not the case. I thought it should be corrected. No need to get all defensive for poor writing. Parochy (talk) 15:17, September 1, 2012 (UTC)
i didn't write this so i don't care if you put it in and even if i did it's a free planet anyway. the problem is, what you'll be adding is pointing out the obvious - another thing not tolerated well in the mainspaces. consider this: the spectre offices door is conveniently marked 'red' for 'no entry' while all other doors including the one to udina's office are conveniently marked 'green' for 'you may enter'. any fool with working eyesight can deduce that there's no point to entering a locked door if it's not yet important to the story. are you able to buy any of the spectre weapons this early in the game? unless you cheated, of course not. will you be able to approve whatever's needed to be approved at the terminal? partner benefits can wait, you can only roam docking bay, embassy and hospital at this point. will you be able to test your weapons at the shooting range? unless you're at newgame+ you only have crap weapons which i doubt you'll be happy to test in the firing range. it's not like it's out of the way or hard to miss either, where you can be excused for pointing it out and saving people time - but it's in front of your bloody mission objective. so again, tl;dr: pointing out the obvious. Khalisah as a war asset Edit

It's not mentioned in the walkthrough. To get her as an asset, do not use the renegade interrupt. Wait until the paragon interrupt appears (right after the first renegade interrupt). This will give Shepard the option to ask her to keep pressing the council with difficult questions. And that will get her on your side.

not mentioned? how about you read more thoroughly before posting. hint: last paragraph of the walkthrough, her article page, and the alliance war assets page listing the way to maximize points out of her. in that order. What I wrote is not mentioned: HOW to get her as a war asset. It should be. Your attack makes no sense. I thought this was an open community. I guess I was wrong. Parochy (talk) 15:19, September 1, 2012 (UTC)
"attack"? lulz. i'm just posting information the same way as you are. redundancy is little tolerated in the articles - which is why some things are mentioned while others aren't - and the ones that aren't mentioned are conveniently linked to the relevant articles most of the time. again, if you bothered to read and click further you'll have found out that your redundant information was already posted in at least two other pages - one of which is linked to this walkthrough, and the other linked through that page. the page said "potential war asset" and there's a link to al-jilani's article - so i read there. what's written there is not probably clear enough so i click on the conveniently placed war assets page. lo and behold what you wrote was already put there months ago. it's really that simple.
