"Bolto" nickname

Can we get other confirmation on this? I interact with KEI-9 every time I'm in the shuttle bay, and this has never happened, whether with import or new character. (And my Shep is always female, if that matters--I doubt it.) In the mean time, I'm removing it because it sounds like a hoax. Trandra 19:09, May 14, 2012 (UTC)

I just now encountered it. My mShep says "You need a new name. How about 'Bolto'." I was so shocked that I almost missed something saying "Fine" right after it. Reloaded but it did not occur again. 65.87.48.234 04:27, July 14, 2012 (UTC)

it is indeed a possible but VERY rare occurrence. it's there in the dialog data among the lines shep can say to the dog and once any of you encounters this turn subs on and printscreen. i can only stress its rarity as i've gone countless playthroughs with the dog and none of which had me lucky enough to catch an instance. haven't given up on encountering this ingame though. (tl;dr i'm saying it exists but i haven't actually encountered this yet so i'm not posting a confirmation vote for the purposes of this talkpage)

good luck with that. it's a one in a million chance. it's preferable you take clear, highres evidence (minimum 720p) from ingame commands/tools on PC since cam shots from ecksbawks or any other console tend to be blurry. you can very well upload the pics here or you can use youtube to upload any video evidence. this wiki has policies for this kind of thing, read them here. since you posted here there's currently 2 of you outright saying confirmed. I had this happen earlier, with a female Shepard. "You need a new name. How about... Bolto?" After a pause, another voice says, "fine". It sounded like Jennifer Hale, and I think it was attributed to something like 'femshepard6', unless I'm seeing things. I only caught a fleeting glimpse of this second line, and was too slow with the screenshots for either. (As an aside, I just Quick Loaded approximately 500 times, trying to get it to show again. Name Likely based on K-9 from Doctor Who, another robotic dog who travels with a main character of a science fiction story setting.

I don't see why there can't be a "possibly" stuck in there like I did put, I mean it's trivia, after all, something "possibly" being a refference to something doesn't need sorcing that's prepostorous. And what is "valid trivia" supposed to mean. LilikaMatthews 15:49, August 19, 2013 (UTC)

Bug?

Every time I interact with KEI-9, Shepard says 2 lines at once. Like I'll hear "Good dog" and "Stay" overlapping each other. Has anyone else experienced this? I didn't see it mentioned on the page so I'm really wondering. I feel like it would be common considering it happens to me literally every single time. TheKingLerp (talk)
