I can't access hacking until I have 7 points of decryption, not 5 like it says here. Is it the same for anyone else?

um...I have not yet played the game as an engineer, so I was wondering what exactly do they mean by "reverse engineer enemy technology"?

I assume the meaning relates to the AI Hacking ability that allows you to make any mechanic life form attack random target. You also have the Sabotage and Overload that allow you to dispense of enemy shields and overload their weapons, respectively. --silverstrike 01:40, October 3, 2009 (UTC)

well those abilities can hardly be called reverse egineering. whatever, I see it has been changed anyway.

That text was from the original Engineer write-up, I believe. I think it's meant to refer to reverse engineering enemy tech so you can then break it. : ) --Tullis 15:24, October 4, 2009 (UTC)
