"The shower of gold"? Really? I sure hope that's an intentional pun. If not, someone needs to sit some BioWare writers down and explain a few things to them. This one just makes me sad... though I am reminded of a certain episode of The Simpsons, where reporter Kent Brockman uttered a similar line and got mad when the camera crew laughed at his verbal gaffe. - Well you know, *my* first thought was of Zeus and Danae (which is kinda disturbing, too, given my paranoid fear of inclusion of Shepard's alien hybrid babies in ME3). - Of course not. However, this isn't just a normal word that has some nasty connotations. It's a rather infrequently used phrase that, as it just so happens, is infrequently used because of its lewd connotations. There's quite a difference between the way you frame the situation and the way the situation actually stands. There's a pretty good reason that the words "gold" and "shower" are so rarely used together in the English language, which is why the rather infrequent uses are generally jokes, such as the example from The Simpsons that I cited, and hopefully this instance as well. Of course we shouldn't avoid using words that have had their meanings twisted. But this isn't one of those cases. Words and phrases are not the same thing, are they? Anywho, I was more attempting to point out the humor in this than I was making a serious gripe about it. SpartHawg948 09:39, January 1, 2011 (UTC)
