Sidon

Sidon is a remote world in the Skyllian Verge that was the site of a top-secret Systems Alliance research facility. Partly because of its classified status, Sidon was only a small research station, home to twelve researchers, fifteen security personnel, and six support staff.
The Sidon facility was secretly conducting research into artificial intelligence. It was attacked in 2165 by members of the Blue Suns mercenary group, acting under orders from batarian businessman Edan Had'dah. All the station's personnel were killed with the exceptions of 1st Lieutenant Kahlee Sanders, who was AWOL, and Dr. Shu Qian, whom the mercenaries were sent to extract. The facility itself was heavily damaged in an explosion intended to hide all evidence of the Blue Suns' activities.
It is unknown if the Alliance resumed operations out of Sidon.
