Jella
From Mass Effect Wiki
Jella was a batarian woman who worked at the Dah'tan Manufacturing Company on Camala. She was a disgruntled employee, who often aided Edan Had'dah's operations by leaving security doors unlocked or moving packages when asked. In return, she was paid well, but never realised what she was really facilitating, as Had'dah kept her in the dark as much as he could. When she was asked to close down the security system, Jella complied happily, hoping for another payment. She didn't know she had given Skarr and several Blue Suns mercenaries the chance to enter Dah'tan undetected, and that she was actually the target of the attack.
However, at the wrong moment, Jella left her post at reception and was able to hide in a ventilation shaft while her former colleagues were killed, including her co-worker, She'n'ya, whom Skarr mistook for Jella and shot, believing he had completed his mission. The building was then destroyed with explosives, but Jella miraculously survived, though she was horrifically burned. Batarian rescue teams were later called to the scene; Jella was found and taken to a medical centre.
Saren Arterius, on Had'dah's trail, visited the site of the destroyed factory and later went to see Jella while she was undergoing treatment. Though she was in a medically-induced coma, Saren sent the medical staff away and woke Jella to question her. Jella's injuries were life-threatening, but she managed to give him Edan Had'dah's name. Saren then deliberately withheld an injection that could have put her back into a coma and saved her life, waited until Jella died, then injected her to cover his tracks.
