Jath'Amon
From Mass Effect Wiki
Jath'Amon was the batarian ambassador in Mass Effect Galaxy. Outwardly meek and well-meaning, he was on a mission to bring peace between the batarians and the Citadel Council but became an assassination target to batarian groups who saw "peace" as being synonymous with "surrender."
In reality, Jath'Amon was the true leader of the batarian extremists and the main antagonist of Mass Effect Galaxy. His true goal was the assassination of the Council with a deadly engineered virus. He planned to release the virus during his apparent negotiations with the council, himself being safely vaccinated against the bioweapon.
When Jacob Taylor and Miranda Lawson discovered the truth of Jath'Amon's intentions from the Turian arms dealer Illo Nazario, they hurried back to the citadel and entered the council chamber during the middle of ambassador's speech; bringing the evidence against Jath'Amon to light. With the realisation that his true motives were known, Jath'Amon's peaceful demeanor faded and the now furious ambassador sprayed the virus into the citadel tower from a concealed pump in his hover chair. Jacob defeated Jath'Amon's batarian troops and combat drones before detaining the ambassador himself. Upon being defeated, he claims he and Jacob are not so different; they both go to great ends to protect their people. Jath'Amon was last seen swearing revenge on Jacob and the citadel races as he was led away by C-Sec officers.
