Garrus: Find Dr. Saleon

Garrus: Find Dr. Saleon is an assignment given by Garrus Vakarian. He tells you about his encounter with Dr. Saleon, the geneticist, and that he regrets letting him escape the first time after tracking him down during a C-Sec investigation. Garrus hopes that you'll be able to track him down and bring him to justice.

Repeatedly talk to Garrus while aboard the Normandy. Keep asking about his history in C-Sec. He'll eventually tell you a story about Dr. Saleon, and you'll get the assignment to track him down, along with the coordinates of Dr. Saleon's ship, the MSV Fedele.

Head to Herschel in the Kepler Verge, where there is a ship named the MSV Fedele. Onboard, there will be some hostile 'test subjects', which are actually Thorian Creepers; however, they are not vulnerable to anti-Thorian gas grenades. You can easily lure the Creepers towards the entry to the main room, they will not follow you completely outside. Simply shoot one then run back out towards the exit, keeping your eyes on your Weapon Radar. You may have to repeat this a few more times to get them close before the entrance (eventually having your Squad come running with you to trigger the creepers to move), but once they do they start walking back or sometimes just sit in a corner, waiting to be shot down. Once the test subjects have been dealt with, Dr. Saleon can be found in the next compartment on the right.

You then have the option of encouraging Garrus to kill Saleon for Renegade points, or to bring him in peacefully for Paragon points. If the latter choice is made, then Saleon is killed while resisting arrest. If Garrus is not in your party, Dr. Saleon will try to smooth talk you, but a squad member will tell him that you are aware of his doings, causing him to turn hostile and flee, ultimately dying from a single shot.
