I'm feeling like an idiot, but I can't take down the Reaper on Rannoch. I evade the inital beams just fine, but when it comes closer and starts accumulating energy, I'm not getting something right. Could someone give me an idiot-proof detailed description what exactly I must do to prevent the final blast? Thanks --Ygrain 20:55, April 11, 2012 (UTC)

Welp, don't stand right in front of the eye for starters. Move to the side a bit and stand still. The aiming takes longer if you move about. That's about all I do and it gets me through just fine. --Kainzorus Prime Walkie-talkie 21:00, April 11, 2012 (UTC)
For me I found my dodging skills were lacking so I would zoom in and shoot the targeting laser for as long as I felt was safe, then quickly run either left or right. That seemed to work for me. It took me a long while to figure out firing the targeting laser while zoomed in and standing still was the quickest way to get through the fight. Freakium 22:53, April 11, 2012 (UTC)

You mean that very last blast, when the reaper gets all up in your face, and you can't move? I think key to that is to start focusing the laser before the reapers opens up and starts using it's beam, IIRC of course.--SunyiNyufi 08:13, April 12, 2012 (UTC)

Yeah, that one. Is it possible to start focusing before the circle appears? Because, it did only after the Reaper opened. Also, I never see those blue lines closing in, the way they did with the initial beams, does it mean I'm aiming off the centre? --Ygrain 09:54, April 12, 2012 (UTC)
Hmm, just watched this video and what I can tell from it, you don't exactly need to target the centre and that you should just start using the laser as soon as it comes close, even if you don't exactly target it's core. Don't really know how else to say it. But if you don't even see the blue lines closing, it might be a bug, cos that should happen...slowly, but still.--SunyiNyufi 10:10, April 12, 2012 (UTC)
As it seems, it was really a bug - when I loaded the game yesterday, I got it right on my first attempt. Thanks for the support, anyway :-) --Ygrain 09:49, April 13, 2012 (UTC)
You're very welcome, glad you got it sorted out :)--SunyiNyufi 10:21, April 13, 2012 (UTC)
