Tactical Cloak

This isn't addressed in the Tactical Cloak page, but I haven't been able to figure it out in-game either. Firing a weapon breaks the cloak, and confers a damage bonus. But what I can't figure out is if that does any good with automatic or semi-automatic fire. Is there a set period in time where the bonus applies, or is it only the first shot? This would mean that cloak is much less useful for the Raptor, or Mattock, or any automatic. Is there any confirmation from the coding or play testing as to how that works? There is a short delay between your first shot and the damage bonus wearing off, about as much as it would take to get 3 shots off with the N7 Valiant, hope this helps. TheRealTerminal 07:29, March 20, 2012 (UTC)
So, that would also apply to the initial burst of sustained fire from an automatic? I think if this effect is confirmed, it should be noted on the Tactical Cloak page. Ctrl alt belief 17:59, March 20, 2012 (UTC)
It should do, I cannot truly clarify at this moment, but in my experiance it is unwise to use a low DPS rifle to break a cloak when a high DPS weapon (Sniper, Shotgun, Carnifex) would be more appropriate. TheRealTerminal 01:04, March 21, 2012 (UTC)
