Quick match set-up question

Does anyone know how sometimes, when you set a "Quick Match" as follows...
Location = Random
Enemy = Random
Difficulty = Silver
You get placed into a lobby/join a game in session that is already in progress like this instead...
Location = Random
Enemy = Random
Dificulty = Gold
I have no problem with this at all and this is really unfair for newer players because if they(the new player or players) used these search parameters for a "Quick Match"...
Location = Random
Enemy = Random
Difficulty = Bronze
They(the new player or players) end up in a lobby/join a game session that is already in progress that is like this...
Location = Random
Enemy = Random
Difficulty = Silver
Has anyone else had this happend to them? By my count, this has happend to me 3 times already. Is it just an isolated case on my part? Furthermore, does anyone have some kind of explanation to as why this happends in the first place? As always, thank you very much your assistance regarding this matter, I really appreciate them! :)

- This is something that keeps happening to me. I usually play on silver but I've been dumped into Gold and more recently Platinum matches. I also will do Location = Random, Enemy = Cerberus, and I keep getting dumped into Reaper and geth matches. I also keep searching for Random location and dumped into fixed map matches. The enemy and difficulty is what keeps aggravating me. The entire system is broken and needs to be fixed. Also, what is so wrong with people doing fixed enemy and random map anymore? The reason that I set the "Enemy = Random" is because I want to be surprised on which faction I will be fighting against; the same thing goes for the map, I want to be surprised. As for the prefered opposition, I will pick "Cerberus" because they're the faction that have given me the most problems(I've been playing since Mass Effect 1) and I never get tired of sticking it to "Cerberus" if I want a specific target that isn't linked to an "N7 Weekend Operation"(example: N7 Weekend Operation Broadside).
Yeah, I totally agree with you dude, they need to get to issue with the "Match setting actually what the player(s) were looking for" fixed in the next patch or something.

I have the same problem occasionally. It's annoying. I always make sure to put on my equipment before I go to Quick Match, so I'll be prepared if I get dumped into something nasty, but I still wish they'd fix the issue. Diyartifact (talk) 15:40, July 25, 2012 (UTC)
