Other NotesEdit

After reviewing the Weapon Mods page, it seem that most of the information repeat itself. I Started working on an alternative that removed all repeating information and made the TOC more efficient by listing the name of the mods.

This is still work in progress (could provide more usability for searching based on weapon type) that could be improved upon, that is, if the direction of the overhaul is favorable by the wiki community. --silverstrike 17:08, April 28, 2012 (UTC)

Comments Edit

I still very much prefer the current page than the proposed page though. Few reasons:

  • It includes the full name of the mod (eg. Assault Rifle Stability Damper as opposed to only Stability Damper)
  • Easier to find mods according to weapon types. Descriptions and visibility are segmented accordingly too, making it easier to read.

So yeah, that's just my 2 credits. — Teugene (Talk) 04:55, May 2, 2012 (UTC)

I'm going to have to agree as well. While the page may have an overlong TOC, it is much more efficent for searching and it is easier to read. If you could develop it more, as you stated it is still a first draft, then I might change my opinion. However, as to suggestions, unfortunately, I have none. Lancer1289 05:01, May 2, 2012 (UTC)
Was wondering if you would consider adding the "in-game" appearance for each mod, as some (barrel extensions and scopes for instance) look different with each level, seems like a nice peice of eye candy to me, though obviously not truley neccesary. FeckThisShyt 02:42, May 3, 2012 (UTC)
I like the idea, but there will be too many images for one page. We could use JavaScript to show/hide images dynamically to prevent clutter... I'll take a shot at it. --silverstrike 06:25, May 3, 2012 (UTC)

Revision 1 Edit

Made a revision to the original draft: replaced the TOC with a table that uses the full name of the mod which also serve as a comparison between the naming of the various weapons. --silverstrike 07:32, May 2, 2012 (UTC)

Link, again: User:Silverstrike/Sandbox/Weapon Mods --silverstrike 07:33, May 2, 2012 (UTC)

Revision 1.5 Edit

Styled the table a little (still needs work), reordered sections and created a subsection for mods unique to a certain weapon, and added missing images. --silverstrike 09:14, May 2, 2012 (UTC)
