I've completed all missions in ME2 up to the Reaper IFF mission, including all loyalty missions with the exception of Jacob because for these two missions I need to go to the Rosetta Nebula and the Hawking ETA cluster. But these locations are not showing up in my Galaxy Map! I bought the galaxy maps on Illium, but still no luck. What gives? Totally at an impasse, sux.

I did not have this issue the few times I played through the game, are you sure you have talked with Jacob enough and made the right decisions to be able to do the loyalty mission? That is the only thing I can think of is that it might not unlock until you have talked to him about the distress call from his dads ship. I have not played the game in about a year, so just going off what I remember...

Thanks for trying to help, but yes, I've talked to Jacob and listened to his story about his dad and my journal was updated with the mission objective to go to Aeia which is in the Rosetta Nebula. However the problem is that the Rosetta Nebula is not showing up on my Galaxy Map.  :( I've played up to this point with two different careers, and both times this destination is missing. At this point I'm wondering if it is a glitch. Perhaps there is some corrupted data in my download of the game.  :(

Ummm dont know than. Can try to repair the installation depending on how you bought the game, I had a steam version and dont remember the details but there is a way for it to check and fix any missing files or problems. Only otheer suggestion is keep Jacob in your party at the end game mission to make sure he stays a live. However with him not loyal in 2, unsure if you can make him loyal in 3 to get his bonus or anything. But at least he will be alive.
