Hello Everyone :)
Here is why I think that the "Rebellion Pack" DLC could possibly be free...
(1) People are playing other games(Diablo 3, Max Payne 3, The Elder Scrolls Skyrim, etc...) & in order to keep players interested, Bioware/EA will forego the profit just to keep the multiplayer alive.
(2) All of those people who have "bought" their ranks with real money probably paid for the DLC for the entire community. If I were to estimate the profit that Bioware/EA has made through players "buying" their N7 Rank, I would estimate a profit of at least $100,000.00
What do you guys think? Thank you very much for your feedback in regards to this matter, I really appreciate them! :)

Well, BioWare gave us some nice free stuff for through the Cerberus Network, so I'd hope that they keep things in a similar direction. If they do charge for multiplayer stuff, I'd expect it to contain much more content than the free packs. Mr. Mittens 22:24, May 19, 2012 (UTC)
BioWare/EA foregoing profit? That's hilarious ;) --The Milkman | I always deliver. 22:54, May 19, 2012 (UTC)
- Buying their N7 rank? As well as most if not all because of the micro-transactions they are doing with the multiplayer item packs. They can afford it.--Xaero Dumort 02:03, May 20, 2012 (UTC)
- It depends on how much money they are earning from people purchasing the equipment packs with real money. It may be more profitable to release a free dlc, making players come back and play more multiplayer and thus spend more money on equipment packs. Magma-Man 02:49, May 20, 2012 (UTC)
Hello Everyone! :)
I personally don't mind paying the $10.00 for the "Rebellion Pack" DLC so long as they throw in "1" free Premium Spectre Pack, "1" free Spectre Pack, "1" free Veteran Pack", "1" free Premium Equipment Pack, and "1" free Recruit Pack in the mix with the "2" new maps & the new unlockable characters/weapons.
In all fairness, the completely random item generation nature of these packs will leave some players with "useless" stuff or "awesome" stuff. Either way, this should minimize the feeling that the player was just "ripped off!" by Bioware/EA.
I honestly don't see Bioware/EA giving away "1" of the the "Rebellion Pack" DLC characters with purchase because that would mean "1" less incentive for players to spend real money to purchase these packs. By going with the free store packs deal, Bioware/EA at least has a chance that players will not get anything at all from the "Rebellion Pack" DLC. Thus once again, simulaneusly minimizing that the player was just "ripped off!".
