I have no idea if this is even possible, but can we turn off the mobile theme? Visiting the wiki from a mobile device (iPhone, Android etc.) is completely useless since non of our templates work properly on it, and you can't do any editing or even view the recent activity page. All these modern mobile devices are perfectly capable of viewing the proper website but the damn wiki redirects to the mobile version and it's impossible to view the proper wiki.

First this isn't the forum for something like this, the Policy Forum is the appropriate place. Second, I highly doubt that we can shut it off in the first place. Wikia has been reporting that they are having problems with the mobile skin and they are working to fix them. Hmm maybe they wouldn't be having those problems if they didn't switch to this great new skin in the first place. Well, I don't know whether we're on the same page here, but lately (like the last couple of months) I've had the full page with pan&scan show up instead of the old column when I view it on my Symbian device with Opera Mini 5 and use "view full site". It used to be just a column on a blue background with all the page's main-body text, and now it has all the side elements too and I have to pan around the thing. Also, often this layout does not load anything but the title page - when I click an internal link, I get a momentary loading reaction which however fizzles out and does nothing. Seems bugged to me, although it may be a device issue - the Opera Mini 5 has been known to have bugs, especially on non-touch devices like mine, as it was primarily designed for those touch thingys (most of which are not Symbian to boot). :-)
