Months ago, when I initially heard that Dark Energy was originally planned to heavily influence the alternate ending to ME3, I wasn't too bothered. But having recently replayed the trilogy, I realise how many times Dark Energy and its potential implications were brought up - mainly on side quests, but most notably on Haestrom.

It would have been amazing that something you'd been hearing about for the entire trilogy (mainly from the start of ME2 onwards, but still) but had been pushed to the back of your mind could have had a major impact on the destiny of the galaxy - am I the only one slightly annoyed that Bioware didn't go ahead with this?

Evidence of how Bioware was planning implement this plot device into the ending is sketchy, so I was wondering does anyone here have any sources or further details? Other than in the Bioware forums (which I really don't like for some reason), people seem unwilling to discuss this topic. Sure, lots of people on the internet claim to have scripts, leaks etc from Bioware, but its hard to know whats real and whats fakery. Since people here have shown their expertise time and time again, if you have any info to offer it would be great. --An Ceannaire (talk) 18:44, August 6, 2012 (UTC)
