(I moved this over from the Extended Cut's talk page so we can continue discussion of this discovery. The parts below are from the talk page that I have copied over for the benefit of the people who did not get the opportunity to see it earlier.)--108.48.15.158 14:43, June 27, 2012 (UTC)

A few people have been datamining the EC and have found some very peculiar content in the files that hints at a major role for the Leviathan of Dis in the next single player DLC. They start around the middle of the page below, starting at line 1021.

Here are a few choice lines from the content. I don't know who's saying them, though- the text doesn't make it clear.

"So we have Leviathan. I hope it stays on our side."

"So the Reapers did not fully exterminate their creators. That suggests they are fallible, even on large or long-term scales."

"If Leviathan is a defector--a Reaper that broke away from the others--then it is also a traitor. And traitors are never to be trusted, even among the enemy. If they can betray their own kind, imagine what they can do to you."

"With the Leviathan on our side, maybe we pull this thing off after all."

"So a Reaper goes rogue and kills one of its own. That's what we're looking at here, right?"

Apparently, the Leviathan of Dis has turned against the Reapers and might be willing to assist Shepard. I don't quite believe it myself- it sounds like something out of a bad fanfic. But why would Bioware put these files in if that was the case?--108.48.15.158 13:45, June 27, 2012 (UTC)

While this is interesting, we don't accept leaked information. Lancer1289 13:53, June 27, 2012 (UTC)

I understand that. I had no intention of adding this information to the article itself; I just couldn't think of another method of informing people about this that would be less disruptive. For now, it should just stay on the talk page until Bioware confirms or denies the leak's contents.--108.48.15.158 13:58, June 27, 2012 (UTC)

Even if it's true, what really would we gain? A war asset at best, since I don't imagine riding around in a Reaper. Plus, the LoD indoctrinated the Batarian researchers right before the invasion, why the sudden change of heart now? --Kainzorus Prime Walkie-talkie 14:00, June 27, 2012 (UTC)

Good question. Like I said, the idea sounds like it came out of a bad fanfic. I suppose we'll find out when it gets released (assuming it's actually true). I would like to think that a friendly Reaper would give more than just a war asset, though- something like that should have a much bigger impact than an extra number for your EMS.--108.48.15.158 14:04, June 27, 2012 (UTC)
