just wondering if shepard's appearance can be changed if he's imported from mass effect 2

I think BioWare said you could, but i'm not sure.--Legionwrex 23:14, February 5, 2012 (UTC)

Bioware has confirmed this. You won't be able to change class or anything, but appearance is confirmed.Gruntburner

If I remember correctly, you can change your face and your class.

Huh. I'd have assumed you could change both appearance and class, like when importing to ME2. Diyartifact 00:15, February 6, 2012 (UTC)

When you start ME2 to that point, you can change Shepard's appearance because his body was fairly burnt to a crisp. Technically, when you get to those options, you're taking the role of a Cerberus agent who's reconstructing Shepard's body. The wanted to make him the same, but they could always change his appearance and class. Because nothing like that happens from ME2 to ME3, the option can't really be there.

Well, no, it doesn't make sense from a story perspective, but games do a lot of things that don't make sense. I was figuring it would be possible because players would be expecting it after ME2. Diyartifact 02:22, February 6, 2012 (UTC)

It has been confirmed that you will be able to change both your appearance and your class. They're adding a bunch of new customization options, anyway. They're not going to restrict you from using them. --HellfireDezzy 23:26, February 7, 2012 (UTC)

Which will be good, given that some characters may need a little tweaking when transferring into an updated graphics engine. Minor adjustments should be fine for those who wish to keep their Sheps canon. As for purple hair... erg.
