I've completed all loyalty quests, except for Jacob's. But when I come to the planet where his father's ship crashed (Aeia, marked with 'Jacob' on my map), I can't land. It only says 'start scanning' and when I do that, an anomaly is detected. However, I still can't land.

Did you drop a probe on the anomaly? That's how you do those missions and other hidden assignments that require you to scan a planet. Tanooki1432 13:06, August 17, 2010 (UTC)
