What is the best time for DLC in ME3? Some said after finishing the game and some said during the play so can you help me with that decision?
Thanks
- (Don't forget to sign your posts!) It depends what you mean by 'best'. Things to consider are whether it makes sense in terms of the story; whether you want the weapons/credits/items that the DLC gives; whether you want the big experience boost that many of the DLC give. As an example, I base the decisions on how well the DLCs fit the story. I do Priority: Eden Prime after Priority: Palaven, so that Javik is available for a lot of the game. I start Leviathan after the Cerberus attack on the Citadel, AND after locking in a romance, AND after having done Kallini: Ardat-Yakshi Monastery. This is because there are extra dialogue lines with locked-in romance squadmates that I didn't want to miss, and it didn't make sense to me that the squad would recognise a banshee during Leviathan: Find Garneau, but would then act as if they were encountering them for the first time at the monastery.
- I do the Omega mission after Priority: Tuchanka and before the Cerberus attack, because story-wise, it feels like there isn't anything absolutely urgent that Shepard would think needed doing immediately at that point. Shepard gains at least ten levels of experience during the Omega mission, and I prefer to do that a bit later in the game, rather than have Shepard be very powerful very early on. After Priority: Rannoch feels like a good time to start the Citadel: Shore Leave mission, and it also gives time to have the little meet-ups with squadmates. I leave the party until after Priority: Horizon, so that Miranda can attend. -Sophia (talk) 10:36, November 6, 2014 (UTC)
Eden Prime - After Priority: Palaven
Leviathan - After Priority: Thessia
Omega - After The Citadel Coup
Citadel - After Priority: Horizon

Last time I did it I did Eden Prime straight after Palaven and Omega right after the coup. With Leviathan I did it in stages after finishing main quest lines (first mission after Eden Prime, second after the Coup, third after Rannoch). With Citadel I always leave it until after the main game, making it the other story mentioned by the Stargazer - also means I save the very best for last. Garhdo (talk) 01:44, November 8, 2014 (UTC)
