Name says it all. In my opinion, the armour sets should all be modular. yes it might seem odd if you choose a piece of the terminus assault armour to go with, say, the blood dragon armour; but they could do a Dragon Age thing where if you wear all the pieces of one armour set it gives you a bonus, but they'd make the helmets optional (i.e. not required for the bonuses). Terminus assault armour would look pretty cool without that bulky helmet (in my opinion).

any other thoughts? --Burkenation 02:19, December 4, 2011 (UTC)

I think that would be a good idea and certainly better than what BioWare did in ME2. That was one of the things that I didn't like about ME2 was the full armor sets. Some of the sets made sense, but to make just about every armor set like that, didn't make much sense to me. Lancer1289 02:56, December 4, 2011 (UTC)
yes, i mean the Collector armour makes sense as a one-piece but the blood dragon armour already is modular in Dragon Age, and the Terminus Assault armour looks like it should be modular. I really hope they do this (make them all modular) for ME3 because otherwise I'll just be sticking with my N7 armour all game again. At the very least they could implement some sort of limited inventory system a la ME1 and allow you to add/remove the helmet at will; they could have one piece armour sets but optional helmets. a perfect compromise. If anyone at BioWare reads this...please? haha. --Burkenation 03:24, December 4, 2011 (UTC)
Well, BioWare did attempt to rectify the issue with the Aegis Pack DLC. The armour is best when all the pieces are equipped, but it is a modular set of armour. Entia non sunt multiplicanda praeter necessitatem 03:56, December 4, 2011 (UTC)
True! and that is a step in the right direction, however I think it should be expanded upon in Mass Effect 3. I have used the Kestrel set on occasion - save for the helmet which I just find...odd...but I personally would like to see it apply to all armour items in the third game--or have them add a Helmet Yes/No function in the Armour Customization screen. Either one would be acceptable. --Burkenation 04:08, December 4, 2011 (UTC)
