I'm just about to start Mass Effect 2 again with a Mass Effect save, and I wondering if someone could help me with a small thing.

My ME save is an Infiltrator class Shepard, and since I completed ME2 before I have access to all of the loyalty powers, I had a look at the Infiltrator guide to see what notable bonus powers were a good choice.

To me it looks like it is either going to be Energy drain or Warp ammo.

But things are different on paper than in practice, so I decided to ask which power do you think is the better choice?

Just leave your response below. Bluegear93 14:57, January 23, 2012 (UTC)

I have found that Warp Ammo is better because it has more uses and can allow you to take down enemies quicker. Warp Ammo, while less effective against shields, is extremely effective against armor and barriers. Warp Ammo just has more versatility than Energy Drain
Energy Drain is a more a situational power and in all honesty, useful only when your shields are gone. Energy Drain can help you to survive, but Warp Ammo can help you take down the enemies faster. Lancer1289 15:06, January 23, 2012 (UTC)
Thanks for help Lancer. Bluegear93 15:43, January 23, 2012 (UTC)

If you want a second opinion, while Warp Ammo is a great, all-round skill, depending on your difficulty you may want the sheild boost for your class. As an infiltrator, you would use the tech sheild, Geth Shield Boost. It all depends on your taste. BeoW0lfe 11:17, January 23, 2012 eastern time.

Good point. Bluegear93 16:56, January 23, 2012 (UTC)
I would go with Armor Piercing Ammo. I then upgrade it to level 4 for just me and use M-12 Locust or the M-96 Mattock Heavy Rifle. Nothing else matters. Also have Thane and Garrus with their own ammo maxed out as well. Make short work of everything. DeadpoolShep 13:23, February 3, 2012
