If anyone here has played the French-language version of Mass Effect, I'm curious how Joker relays the "French guy at the door serious" comment in the Mass Effect 3: Citadel DLC. Is that line changed in the French-language version? Or do they keep the French nationality of the doorman and establish it with a France-origin accent? I am curious about this as well, I usually wonder about movies that feature language or nationality specific references, what happens when the movie is watched in that particular language.

My wife and I love the comedian Eddie Izzard, one of his more famous jokes involves talking about the few phrases in French that he knows: "The Cat is on the table" "the mouse is under the chair" "The monkey is on the branch" and goes out of his way to fit those french phrases into a conversation. The reality is that Eddie speaks fluent french and has given french performances, I wonder if he still tells that joke when in France but simply flips the phrases from french to English.
