Suvi is also the Tempest's resident science officer. She is simultaneously a woman of science and a woman of faith, having lived her life seeking to justify two backgrounds. Suvi is also a potential romantic interest for female Ryder.
To romance Suvi, you must be a female Ryder, you also must talk to her every time you come back to the Tempest during the main story. She prefers the emotional dialogues.
Ryder can begin flirting with Suvi from their first meeting. If the Pathfinder is male, she will politely refuse his advances, stating she wants to keep things professional. She will respond favorably if Ryder is female.
The next flirt option can be taken anytime between their first meeting and finding the salarian ark. By selecting the "I like you" dialogue option, Ryder is able to confess she finds Suvi "really cute," to which the science officer responds by saying the feeling is mutual (although Kallo becomes uncomfortable in the process).
After Hunting the Archon is completed, talking to Suvi will prompt her to invite Ryder for a break. She will make Earth tea and become upset, expressing regrets about leaving her home and family. If Ryder has flirted with her previously, an interrupt is made available to kiss her. Suvi will ask whether she "really means it," and saying yes will lock in the romance.
