Dark Channel is a biotic power in Mass Effect 3. It is available to Javik and as a bonus power for Commander Shepard in single-player, and the N7 Fury Adept, Asari Huntress Infiltrator, and Awakened Collector Adept in multiplayer.

Plague an opponent with a persistent, damaging biotic field. Effect transfers to a second target if the first is killed. Effect's length depends on Dark Channel's duration. Only one field may be active at a time.

Player Notes Edit

• Targets afflicted with Dark Channel can cause Biotic Explosions when detonated with powers such as Warp and Biotic Charge.
• Since it transfers to another enemy when the affected target dies, Dark Channel can be used to set up several biotic explosions in rapid succession. Use Dark Channel on weak infantry, then use a detonator power like Seeker Swarm or Throw for optimal results.
• Dark Channel is also very effective against Ravagers as it will kill Swarmers instantaneously if it travels to one.
• Annihilation Field can detonate Biotic Explosions on an enemy with Dark Channel active for figuratively "two Biotic Explosions". Also Dark Channel and Annihilation Field are very effective against big enemies such as Atlas as the above combo can be used multiple times due to its large amount of health.
