Cole

Cole is a farmer on Eden Prime. He was involved in a small smuggling ring in which his contact Powell paid him to store packages in his sheds. When the attack began, he, Blake, and another farmer were working the crops. They saw the 'mothership' that carried the geth and ran for the nearest shed, hoping to find a weapon in the smuggler's packages. They were forced to lock themselves in to hide from the geth troops swarming around.

After Commander Shepard's squad wipes out the remaining hostiles in the area, Shepard can decrypt the security lock and meet Cole. He gives a description of the 'mothership', including a horrible noise that was emanating from it, "like it was coming from inside your own head", that made it impossible to think. After talking to him, Blake will suggest that Cole "give the soldiers the stuff", much to Cole's annoyance. If investment in Charm or Intimidate is high enough, Shepard can then persuade Cole to hand over an upgrade in addition to the pistol that he found, and maybe even the name of his contact at the docks.
