Chorban

Chorban is a self-proclaimed salarian scientist, who has developed a scanner to obtain readings of keepers. He reports that he created the scanner to learn more about them, since very little is known about their activities and how they accomplish them. He is part of the sidequests entitled Citadel: Jahleed's Fears and Citadel: Scan the Keepers. He is originally found upon walking outside the council chambers, to the right, after the failure to indict Saren. After receiving the mission Jahleed's Fears, he can be found in the Lower Markets near Morlan.

• If the player accepts Jahleed's quest, Chorban will be met in the Lower Markets with two salarian thugs as protection. After killing the thugs and lowering his health, the player can either shoot Chorban or let him live. However, it is not necessary to kill the thugs, nor attack Chorban. Instead, Chorban can be talked to and will explain that he does not intend to kill Jahleed, merely seeking the data that Jahleed is keeping from him.
