Mass Effect Edit

Asari Scientist is a non-playable class, similar to Adept but with some notable differences, such as the lack of any weapon or armor skill whatsoever. The class is only available to Liara T'Soni.

Electronics is added on top of First Aid as a bonus to aid in survival, and an omni-tool may be equipped. A pistol is the only viable choice initially due to its innate accuracy, but when more high-accuracy assault weapons become available, a shotgun or assault rifle, perhaps a geth pulse rifle, become valid primary weapons.

Note: If Liara learns all of the available biotic abilities, the Overload ability becomes hidden in the HUD. This occurs in the PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions, despite changes in the HUD design. Liara will only be able to use Overload if the Squad Power Usage option is set to Active.

Class Talent Edit

The Asari Scientist class talent reduces biotics and First Aid recharge times, and improves the healing done by First Aid.

Each point spent in the talent adds effects as listed below:

1. Reduces recharge time on all biotics by 4%. First Aid heals an additional 20 points of damage. Reduces recharge time on First Aid by 1%.
2. Reduces recharge time on all biotics by 6%. First Aid heals an additional 30 points of damage. Reduces recharge time on First Aid by 2%.
3. Reduces recharge time on all biotics by 8%. First Aid heals an additional 40 points of damage. Reduces recharge time on First Aid by 3%.
4. Reduces recharge time on all biotics by 10%. First Aid heals an additional 50 points of damage. Reduces recharge time on First Aid by 4%.
5. Reduces recharge time on all biotics by 12%. First Aid heals an additional 60 points of damage. Reduces recharge time on First Aid by 5%.
6. Reduces recharge time on all biotics by 14%. First Aid heals an additional 70 points of damage. Reduces recharge time on First Aid by 6%.

Mass Effect 2 Edit

Asari Scientist is Liara's class power during Mass Effect 2. The power increases her combat skills, weapon damage, and health. It also improves her power recharge time.
