Early

So has anyone else seen this article that is stating that ME:A is going to be released early for Xbox one. Does anyone have any real info on this?

I read that Bioware confirmed a release on Xbox One before anywhere else in early 2017. However likely I would place too much faith in these reports as I haven't seen anything directly from Bioware, could be a rumor or complete fabrication, I'm not really looking forward to ME:A anyway 😔

I'm really looking forward to it. I know the crew from the first 3 won't be there, yet I really enjoy games that bioware makes. Hard to find good rpg fps on Xbox one.

Yes I loved KOTOR, Dragon Age, and Mass Effect. I just don't like abandoning such a great storyline for, essentially, a new game.

True I can fully understand what your saying. The way I look at it is. They are just expanding the universe that we already know and love

And I understand that but I feel like there could be more to the current story, and for many who went a certain path there is more that must unfold. Like me and Miranda after destroying the Reapers :)

But really there's plenty that could be expanded upon, especially the Krogans depending on your actions though it would be complex.

IllidanShep, you surely have 3 little blue Kids (Consort, Shyala, Liara)...... better be dead than to piss of Miranda about the Kids, right? The Fairy Tales never show what follows the Happy End for a reason.

But it is quite hard to believe that the release would start on a plattform that has sales numbers than the other plattforms. Seems more like a marketing strategy of some retailers to get attention. I preordered ME:A for PC via Origin, so if they want to get early access to players, then it will be more likely to those who preordered a game instead of waiting for the initial release. That strategy is more common. But no hard facts on that. So I'd take that XBOX thing as it is, a rumor, nothing more.

And about the expandable story after ME3, well.... first BW had to make clear which of the decission is the right one for a continuation of the story and than........ well the mass relays recieved some heavy damage as did most of the advanced planets, factories, industrial sites, fuel depots..... there is a lot of time needed to be spent on repairs and the Control or Synthesis decission would certainly accelerate this process. A ME 4 game would be about reaching the Stars again, rebuilding the Civilizations and the galactic Community, as most of the military fleets were in Sol in the final Battle. (Did Arya made it off the Citadel btw?)

Would you want that? Play a Game with no real enemy and only the fight to survive the Aftermath of the Reaper War.

ME: A might actually be all of the above, but only without the Reapers. BW can ruin or expand the franchise with this bold step, but I am willing to give it a try.
