Your personal feelings on the upcoming ME Andromeda

With the trend of corporations meddling with triple-A games, DLC paywalls, half-finished games, rushed titles, game-breaking bugs at launch...I feel sick in the stomach thinking about what's in store for us ME players in the next release. On one hand, I keep telling myself "It's gonna be great! Just like the time you picked up ME1, or yelled HELL YEAH finishing the suicide mission with a full crew!" - but on the other, after the way ME3 concluded (yes, I'm still bummed out), and thinking about how DA Inquisition fell short of its potential...I don't know, so many doubts.

What do you guys think?

I think the gaming industry is in a "slowed down" era. Mainly thanks to Activision destroying the entire industry just to get more money than they need, and other producers who are just not doing things right. I've noticed that many video game producers such as Bungie have been making their games better from listening to their fans. Destiny had a very slow start, but once the fans started making a bunch of ideas, Bungie started to improve the game. Sadly Activision took over and made everything a micro-transaction. However I have hope for Andromeda. As long as it's absolutely packed with content, has good character customisation, and important decisions that affect the outcome of the game, it's good enough in my book.

I feel the same way. I try to think that Andromeda will be great, but I'm losing hope in the game faster than I thought. I don't know, it looks like some kind of space-Dragon Age Inquisition. And I really hated DAI (it isn't a bad game, but I thought it could be better, like a new Dragon Age origins or something like that). The story don't seems to be epic and cool like the rest of Mass Effect trilogy. But the worst thing for me is that the choices of ME3 won't affect the game.
I hope I'm wrong, because a bad Mass Effect game can break my heart XD

The choices of ME3 won't affect ME:A because it takes place before ME3 and after ME2

Honestly, I'm gonna miss some of the old characters, like Garrus and Javik. But it's possible that Liara could've survived depending on how much later Andromeda is set after Mass Effect 3. Hopefully the characters in Andromeda will be interesting. The story sounds kinda boring and gives the impression it's going to be slow - but that should mean it's going to be a long adventure, and there should be lots of things to do.

I think it will n nice to explore a new galaxy. It does suck that t her not continuing on from the third one, but it might be better. I just wonder if they will make a fifth one. Now that would be cool, maybe continue from the third one. And then the forth one would just be there to entertain you until they come up with a new one. Does that make sense?

Me:A sounds great according to all released information. Though im not sure how to feel about all of further games going with commander shep. I strongly support the indoctrination theory. So i feel mass effect: Andromeda is just to get us distracted for a mass effect 4. You know destroy us just to hype the game. Think about it! Its a great strategy. Act dead till you get close to something new. "The mourning process" then just like tali in mass effect two get sucked into shepards story once again twice as happy to be there

I think it will be great. I mean you are exploring the galaxy and most of the same species will be there. And who knows maybe will get to see new aliens. I did hear a rumor that you can romance a Krogan but I'm highly doubting it. But still I think the game will be fun. Sucks Garrus won't be there though. =-(

It's good to have an open mind about it, it could go a bunch of different ways, but hopefully good ones. For me a focus on exploring planets has been missing so I'm excited to see what it's like.
